Where it came from

GoDentalInsight grew out of a real embezzlement case at a client office. The office did what most offices do: it reconciled periodically. The reconciliation was right on the day it was done. Afterwards, entries were edited, and the check that had already passed never ran again.

That is the lesson the whole product is built on. A check that runs once is only true once. The system watches continuously instead of checking periodically, and it flags a month that was reconciled and later moved, because that edit is the one nobody thinks to look for.

The everyday version

Most of what it finds is not fraud. It is the ordinary result of a team doing four jobs at once: the claim that was never created, the lab case that was never sent, the insurance verified and then invalidated by a later booking, the consent never signed, the copay calculated and never collected. Each one is easy to fix. Finding them is the hard part, and it used to fall on the office manager to re-check everything by hand.

So the system does the re-checking. Every role gets a live list of its own open items. The office manager gets all of them with a count. The list never goes stale, because it is rebuilt from the live data on a schedule.

How it treats your data

It runs on a server on your own network, next to Open Dental. It reads your Open Dental database with a read-only login and never modifies it directly. Anything written goes through Open Dental's official API, which keeps Open Dental's own audit trail. AI features can run on a locally-hosted model, so patient data need not leave the building.

How the business works

The software license is free, the remote install is free, and every price is published on this site. There are no quotes, discounts or negotiations. The product does the selling: an office that sees its own list decides for itself whether it wants more help.
